Headers are Meh

Not sure if it's just installed wrong but the donut gasket provided seems to fit loose and leak.

Good quality, lightweight, but LOUD

I have installed this 4-1 racing header on my 2012 6-speed manual Scion tC paired with the CNT Racing s-pipe, CNT Racing mid-pipe, and a Borla s-type axle-back muffler. This setup is way too loud for everyday driving around town. I plan on installing this for track days only as it is stated for off-road use only, but as usual after ANY install, I just had to go take it out for a spin and man my car rips. This header has definitely opened up some mid and top end power but that big difference was due to having a tune by OrangeVirus made for the parts on my car.

The sound is horrible, very rapsy, I regret a lot

Not real thrilled

They cause my exhaust to be very raspy, whereas it had a nice deep tone prior. Instead of nuts welded to the flange so the factory spring bolts could be used, I got subpar hardware. Even with the provided hardware cranked all the way down, it did not sufficiently tighten up. Also the exhaust gasket that came with it was way to large of diameter for the outlet of the header. There is also no noticeable increase in horsepower or performance.

Great buy, DIY turbo manifold

for 170 bucks headers you really can't beat the quality of product you get. I intend to turn this into a DIY turbo manifold for my 2012 scion tc, just cut at the beginning towards collector and weld on 2.5 inlet t3/t4 flange.
